Wine, Cider & Cocktails and Red, white and sparkling wine alongside the beer, plus Justin's seasonal apple hard cider, cocktails and Jezebel's seasonal seltzer. Useful when half the group would rather have something other than beer.

British Pub Food and Ploughman's boards with Virginia cheeses, toasties, Cornish pasties, sausage rolls and wood fired pizza, made on site. Gluten free options run through the menu. British pub food on a hilltop in Loudoun County.

Private Events & Venue Hire and A private event venue on 26 hilltop acres in western Loudoun County, off Route 9 above Hillsboro. A quieter upstairs floor, a deck facing the Blue Ridge, and a lawn with fire pits. British pub food and beer brewed on site. We do not host weddings or ceremonies.

Rehearsal Dinners & Welcome Parties and The night before the wedding, on a hilltop in Loudoun County. Room for both families to meet properly across a table, a deck at sunset, and fire pits for afterwards. Many couples marry elsewhere in the county and hold this part with us.

Corporate Events & Team Offsites and Weekday offsites, client evenings, sales kickoffs and board dinners at a farm brewery in western Loudoun County. A floor away from the main bar, a deck for afterwards, and beer brewed in the same building.

Holiday Parties and Company and family holiday parties from November onward. Fire pits on the lawn, British pub food inside, and a hilltop view of the Blue Ridge. Weekday dates are easier to get. December books up early.

Milestone Birthday Parties and Fortieth, fiftieth, sixtieth and beyond, near Purcellville and Hillsboro. A long table upstairs, fire pits on the grass, and room for work friends and school friends to mix. Children and dogs welcome.

Retirement Parties and Military, federal and company send offs in Loudoun County. A room set up for the speeches, a deck for anyone who slips out during them, and space that works for grandchildren and old colleagues alike.

Military Promotions & Ceremonies and Promotions, changes of command, commissionings, oaths of office and retirement ceremonies in Loudoun County, Virginia. Room for the formal part, then a deck, a fire and the celebration afterwards.

First Responder Events and Badge pinnings, retirements, academy graduations and awards nights for fire, police and EMS departments in Loudoun County. We plan around the shift rather than the clock, so the second wave still gets fed.

Charity Nights & Fundraisers and Loudoun County groups raising money for something local. Room for your supporters, British pub food, and a weeknight setting people turn out for. Tell us the cause and roughly how many you expect.

Private Club & Group Bookings and Motorcycle clubs, car clubs, veterans posts, cycling groups and social clubs. Off Route 9 above Hillsboro with 26 acres of room to arrive together. Standing arrangements available for groups that meet regularly.

Graduation Parties and May and June graduation parties in Loudoun County. Room for four generations, grass for the young ones, and cap and gown photographs with the Blue Ridge behind them. Families often share an afternoon.

Event Catering & Custom Menus and Catering for private events with menu options beyond our regular offerings. Choose from established catering selections, or work with us to build a custom menu around your event and your guests.

Craft Beer Brewed On Site and Every Loco Lion beer is developed and brewed here by our master brewer Jose Ayala, previously of Boston Beer Company. Blue Ridge water, and for some batches ingredients grown on our own farm.

Hand Pulled Cask Ale and Cask ale finishes fermenting in the vessel it is poured from, served by hand with a beer engine rather than pushed out with gas, at cellar temperature. As far as we can establish, the only cask ale in Loudoun County.

Non Alcoholic Drinks and Non alcoholic beer, soft drinks and soft options for anyone driving, which on a hilltop in western Loudoun County is usually more of the party than people expect.

Live Music & Events and Live music every weekend, open mic nights, trivia, brewery tours and beer pairing dinners at our farm brewery off Route 9 in Hillsboro. Free to attend, dogs welcome, and the deck faces the sunset.

The Lion's Share Members Club and Members drink a 20oz British imperial pint for 7.65 dollars while non members pay 8.50 for 16oz, take 10 percent off food, drinks and merch, and get a quarterly growler refill. 250 dollars a year.

Brewery Tours and See where the beer is made, in the same building you drink it in. Personal brewery tours are included with Lion's Share membership for members and their guests.

Service Area

Loco Lion Brewery & Winery is a British-American farm brewery on 26 acres above Hillsboro in western Loudoun County, Virginia, off Route 9 and west of Purcellville. Owners Nigel Rourke and Laura Starego opened it in autumn 2025.
